I have been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2001. With a background in exercise science and fitness, I am able to help my students overcome many physical challenges and learn to honor limitations as needed.  I have a very anatomically balanced approach to the yoga practice, along with a strong focus on the neurological connection between the mind and the body.  I work with people of all levels and abilities, from the beginner, to the advanced student, to the student who cannot get down on the floor.  I believe that the yoga practice welcomes everyone and that finding the right teacher is often the biggest challenge for all yoga students.

YogaWorks Certified 500hr teacher. Also certified in ACE Personal Training and Post Re-Hab Conditioning.  Pain led Jackie to her yoga mat.  As a former gymnast and gymnastic coach I found yoga allowed me to continue to stay active in the fitness industry training adults and athletes.  While cycling Jackie crushed her foot and then a year later was diagnosed with cancer.  This is when Jackie's practice shifted to rehabilitaion and meditation.  This has become her calling.  Through MELTing techniques and trigger point therapy Jackie has had great success in helping people limit and sometimes completely eliminate their back, neck and shoulder pain.

YogaWorks Certified 500hr teacher. Also certified in ACE Personal Training and Post Re-Hab Conditioning.

I draw from my western training in mental health (Masters in Social Work and Maternal/Child Health) and welcome students who are working with both physical injury and mental health diagnoses.
