In this comprehensive 3-part online course with renowned Yin Yoga expert Bernie Clark, you will learn how to tap into your body’s innate capacity to adapt and grow stronger through appropriate stress. 

Drawing from emerging research on antifragility, this course will provide you with safe, accessible tools to develop resilience against injury and increase longevity.  

Overloading our tissues can lead to injury and joint degeneration over time. However, new models suggest that applying appropriate and managed stress may enhance the durability and robustness of our bodies. 

This phenomenon is known as antifragility. Just as muscles grow stronger with progressive training loads, our connective tissues may thrive under moderate, controlled strain. 

In this course, you will gain a foundational understanding of antifragility principles. We will cover:

– How antifragility applies to health, healing, and longevity

– Key concepts like hormesis, distress and eustress, and biological intelligence as they apply to our yoga practice

– Practical lifestyle tips to promote antifragility daily 

You will learn how variations in our human structure affect how we can load the tissues and how to harness antifragility approaches, specifically through Yin Yoga. This gentle, meditative practice applies moderate stress to connective tissues through long-held, passive postures. 

Over time, this stimulates adaptation processes that enhance elasticity, resilience, and function. Bernie will guide you step-by-step through constructing balanced, nourishing Yin sequences. You will also learn the essentials of technique and the benefits of specific postures.

– Targeting different connective tissues with appropriate stresses   

– Understanding your individual uniqueness and how variations in our structure dictate the shape of yoga postures

– How to determine your intelligent edge to build greater body awareness and interoception
