Life inevitably brings us difficulties – adversity takes many forms and can happen without warning.

Particularly as we enter the last two to three decades of our lives, traumatic events become almost inevitable in the form of traumatic health challenges or the passing of friends, relatives, or even a life partner.

Life challenges can scar us and leave behind lifelong effects like anxiety, depression, chronic health issues, or losing our zest and desire for living.

However, while painful adversity and challenges can also gift us opportunities to evolve and unlock deep inner strengths, we may not have known we possessed.

The ability to flexibly bounce back from adversity and traumatic life events is also referred to as resilience. Resilience is not a trait you either have or do not have; it is a set of strategies that can be learned and practiced.

This ability to recover – and even grow – from adversity is deeply connected to having the resources to work through difficult life experiences.

Join renowned psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and author Dr. Arielle Schwartz for a 3-part online course where you’ll discover a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to building lifelong resilience in the face of change and uncertainty.

Combining lectures, discussion, and yoga practices based on clinical research, you’ll explore the core pillars of resilience so you can greet life’s inevitable ups and downs from a place of empowerment instead of fear.

We’ll begin by looking at the key protective factors that buffer against ongoing stress – things like healthy nervous system regulation, connected relationships, and a sense of meaning and purpose. You’ll self-assess your own resilience pillars and learn to bolster areas ready for growth. We’ll discuss tangible practices that enhance well-being by maximizing strengths rather than “fixing” weaknesses.

Next, Dr. Schwartz will synthesize neuroscience and positive psychology insights into accessible takeaways.

You’ll understand the brain’s neuroplastic capacity to continuously evolve new neural networks when faced with change and look deeply at the transformative potential of challenges. We’ll reframe “optimism” into something achievable for everyone by honoring that all emotions have value in different contexts.

You’ll also have the chance to apply these layered understandings through yoga practices designed to enhance mind-body regulation and instill greater embodiment.

After completing this course with Dr. Schwartz, you’ll feel:

– Empowered to cultivate resilience skills you can lean into during difficult times

– Knowledgeable about the latest research underscoring a strengths-based approach to personal growth

– Equipped with practices to minimize stress reactivity when adversity strikes

– Confident in your ability to flexibly respond to whatever life presents

– Supported by like-minded people invested in their ongoing resilience

– Reconnected to your deepest values, passions, and sense of purpose

– Prepared to navigate both ups and downs from a place of authenticity

Most importantly, you’ll feel a renewed sense of possibility and hope – ready to greet future challenges as opportunities to unlock your full potential.

There is no “one size fits all” solution to developing resilience. By better understanding your unique constitutional makeup, you can design a custom resilience plan based on your needs and goals. You’ll also discover universals, including the incredible power of human connection and living a purpose-driven life.

This Course Also Includes:

I wanted to expand on my thank you. Yoga U Online has been an absolute lifesaver for me. I moved from a yoga mecca to a yoga desert. Instead of having my choice of teachers and styles and special workshops, I now have to travel an hour to take a class. The excellent teachers and interesting topics at Yoga U Online have kept me moving ahead in my practice. I am grateful for all the wonderful yoga you bring to me. Thank you.
