With summer winding down, it’s time to get back to your yoga mat! September is National Yoga Month, and we here at YogaUOnline.com couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate it than by offering a free online event: “Yoga as Transformation: Exploring the Power of Practice.”

Roll out your mat and join us online for a virtual Open House! Practice yoga and listen to talks with 20+ top yoga visionaries and pioneers including Judith Hanson Lasater, Colleen Saidman Yee, Ana Forrest, Cyndi Lee, Tom Myers, Natasha Rizopoulos, Dr. Baxter Bell, Julie Gudmestad, Dr. Timothy McCall, Tias Little, and many, many more.

From Saturday, September 5 thru Monday, September 7 we will feature online yoga practices, interviews, and talks on these three main themes:

  • Deepen Your Practice

  • Get Inspired

  • Explore the Health Benefits of Yoga

Most people are aware of the transformative power and healing benefits of a regular yoga practice, but finding time to develop your practice and broaden your knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of practice is not always easy. With Yoga as Transformation –Explore the Power of Practice, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in all things yoga, and enjoy both yoga practice sessions and talks with some of yoga’s top teachers right in your own home.

“Asana is more than postures; it is a forum that offers the opportunity to refine our attention and get more attuned to who we really are,” says Natasha Rizopoulos, one of the yoga teachers featured in the event. “This is one of the most transformative effects of our time on the mat, and it is one of the key themes we will be exploring throughout the weekend.” Natasha will lead practices during the event, as well as a talk entitled, The Benefits of Consistent Yoga Practice – The Art of Quieting the Mind.

Highlights of the events include the following talks:

Judith Hanson Lasater: All Alone By Myself: Developing a Home Practice in the Midst of a Busy Life. Discover what keeps you from the mat, as well as practical ideas for getting you there with enthusiasm.

Colleen Saidman Yee: Yoga for Life: a Journey of Healing and Transformation. Learn about the early life challenges that shaped Colleen’s dedication to yoga and the process that helped her grow into one of yoga’s most popular and sought-after teachers.

Ana Forrest: Romancing the Spirit—Learning to Walk in Beauty. Listen in as one of yoga’s wise women shares her insights into how we can re-enliven our ability to connect to our innermost essence not just during your yoga asana routine, but outside our practice as well. Connecting to your breath begins the journey, and from there Ana discusses many other fascinating ways to come into a good relationship with your Spirit.

Join us on your own journey of transformation! The event features several surprise Live Q&As as well. To get the full schedule and info on the live Q&As with top teachers, be sure to reserve your free seat! You can go here to register.
