The question is, how do we work in our yoga practice with fascia in our yoga practice to keep it supple and healthy and to avoid the accumulation of tension patterns in the fascia, which can lead to chronic pain?
In this course, yoga therapist Yasmin Lambat takes us on a journey into the fascial system of the body and guides us through various ways to work with the fascia in our practice to support its healthy functioning.
We tend to approach our yoga practice with the idea that more is more. However, when it comes to working with the fascia, research suggests that more too much force can be counterproductive. To gain fascial release, gentle and intuitive movements are far more productive than intense movements or stretches that foster high pressure or strong sensation.

Yasmin has used Intuitive Myofascial release in her work with students and clients to provide relief from chronic pain, inflammation and tension relating to stress and anxiety, arthritis and fibromyalgia. It’s a trauma-sensitive practice that can help release deep-seated patterns in the subtle fabric of the body.
