Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose) is one of yoga’s most challenging postures and the most common. Most people lack the arm strength to do Chaturanga properly right off the bat, and alignment issues are all too common. Unfortunately, some of Chaturanga’s most common misalignments of the shoulders and arms can lead to shoulder injuries over the long term, so this is one pose you want to pay particular attention to mastering correctly.
