Creating Calm in One of Chicago’s Roughest Areas
The organization I-Grow Chicago bought a house in one of Chicago’s roughest neighborhoods in hopes of helping to reduce stress levels for its neighbors. Kids who attend get a light breakfast and then practice street yoga. The plan is for the house to eventually serve as a life center where there will be yoga and Sunday meals all year round.
