Kanjin Yoga offers group and private Gentle Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga classes including meditation, workshops and special events for all levels. Kanjin means observation of the mind. I draw upon over thirty years of personal meditation practice and eighteen years of personal yoga practice and continuing education training to teach an inspired blend of Gentle Hatha yoga. My yoga practice and teaching is influenced by mentors who were trained by B.K.S. Iyengar and various other master teachers from the Hatha, Ashtanga and Anusara yoga traditions. I also have experience with with Hot Yoga, Meditation, Yoga iREST Yoga Nidra. I recently completed the first certification level with Warriors at Ease (www.wae.org) to teach yoga for veterans or others who suffer from PTSD. I offer regular community based yoga classes. Custom classes for businesses, schools or organizations, private and therapeutic yoga for individual clients. Finally, I enjoy teaching a "Introduction to Mindfulness" course I developed.
